Side Mirrors and Wagon wing or spoiler?

Since I'm planning on getting body work and a paint job done, I'm going to be looking into replacing my side view mirrors, one side has some good cuts on it. I'd also like to add in some sort of wing or spoiler for it. Any ideas, also looking for decent prices.

This is for a 2001 Subaru Outback.

might look in the classifids also around some junkyards are some smaller spoilers that came stock. i dont know but I have a Bk and some overseas companies had wings for the sti station wagon which would fit take a look and see.

I have no idea where to look, the only place I know of is www.japanparts.com (http://www.japanparts.com) and they are expensive.

Call the local junk yards and salvage yards.

Tried that once, there isn't jack squat in the San Diego area in the junk yards, I check, hardly any legacys or outbacks in them.

All I'm really looking for is some ideas on aftermarket stuff or OEM.

I just did a search for an 00-04 Wagon spoiler and it pulled up over a dozen results. You might be able to find one in your color.

So now it's onto aftermarket or good looking OEM side view mirrors, anybody have any ideas for this one?

For side mirrors you have three "easy" options.
1. USDM OEM/factory
2. Ganador from Japan
3. JDM OEM

More expensive option
4. Find any other mirror that you like (F1 style for example) and modify the base to fit your existing one. You may or may not lose your electrics.

It really all depends on how far you want to go.

...and as for your mirrors:

Most mirrors (not all) are 3 wire systems. You just have to mate the right ones together and it should work.

Looks like most F1 style mirrors are manual anyways, so that doesn't really bother me too much. So I found these:

These also use a convex mirror so you'll have more view to work with.

I think I'll have to make a custom mount plate for these as well, any ideas for material to use?
