Got a 06' Legacy 2.5i Limitied, its nine and all but I like the agressive look the GT has with its hood/hood scoop. I called my local dealer and asked if they would ever switch hoods or order a gt hood and install on my car and they said "aboslutely not". Is this just them being picky or will all dealships deny me? :-( i wanna look fast

you could go to hansonmotors.com than the parts section and order your own hood than get it painted, or you could go to ebay and look around.

I don't know why they denied you. You have the right to any part you want for any car. Try another dealership.

Forget the scoop to look fast. All the fast guys are close to the ground and have sticky tires. If anything you should spend the coin and get a CF hood to loose some poundage off the front end.
(although 06 hoods are fairly light to begin with I think)

so i went there and saw i could just get the hood scoop which would be a nice option, ebay has been no good as far as i could tell. any other websites i could try?

ebay is easy and cheap. a cf is what i would go for too.

You could just go to a local body shop and have them order the hood you want. Have them paint it/ put it on if you don't want to do it yourself. The only thing is though that any good body shop will tell you that you need to blend the fenders to get the best possible paint match.

To keep to the topic is it possible to find a CF hood with scoop for my BG?

Yeah, there was a thread with BG/BD/BK CF hoods in the body/cosmetics section. Go look there.

You can't just get the hoodscoop. The gt hood has a raised cutout where the hoodscoop goes. If you try to stick it on without it, it will look ridiculous.
