Dual exahust becoming a fad?

I been thinking this for a few.. it seems more and more cars are coming out with them some cars don't look as smooth with them as others.. What do you think? Like the new Forester I can't get used to it yet.

I'm on the fence. Looks good on some cars (quad exhaust on IS-F). I think a suby other than a BL/BP with dual exhaust looks silly. It's heavier and replacements cost more :-(

Yeah it's a shame the most production cars now don't have "real" dual exhausts - they Y into a midpipe and then back out. So it's just for looks, adds weight and cost.

its not recently, its been going on for the past decade or so. And yes, it's mostly done for looks.

I think it looks nice on the newer Legacy. But not a fan on the Forester.

I like it on the new WRXs, but on the N/A Imprezas I think is retarded
