Just got a 06 L, non-turbo, new to modding cars, any ideas on some easy, not too expensive mods that are fun and have a good learning expirence? Dont really care if its performance or look wise, just something to do

Snorkusectomy would be a good place to start. Gives you a little noise under the hood. I'd also clear the headlights as well.
Not to send you off, but check out legacygt.com as well as they have a lot of 05+ Legacy's. A lot of them are LGT's (turbo) but there are some N/A ones as well.
Nice looking car. Welcome to the site!

Welcome to the forums.. however.. i think this forum is more for POSTING DIY, rather than saying you are new to doing DIY and asking for what you should do. Check some of the threads out, and you may get some ideas of things you may want to do in the future.
edit: I see it has been moved now! Post some pics up of your car btw!

Don't let it happen again.....
There's a few things you might want to look into. Clear your headlights (remove orange lens). Snorkus "99SUS" said, thats part of the intake in the passenger fender, leave the air box. I'm not sure how the 05+'s are with grounds, but maybe upgrading the grounds would be a good idea. Have fun!
