Alright i've read all the posts by you guys on here about how bad these tires are but I found them online for $38 a tire. I got them installed and noticed the body roll instantly but the 2.2 liter is not a powerful engine. I don't expect to be taking corners at 60 unless i'm bored or angry.

If you spend more than $40 a tire on these its not worth it. But if your looking for a cheap tire with good wet traction not sure about the snow traction yet but i'll keep you updated. These are a good tire. Now if you feel like spending $80 - or however much they are per tire then you can go with the PZero Nero...

edgeracing are quoting $63 per tire for 205/55/16 on the Ziex.
How did you manage $38? Smaller size?

:lol: nope... they can be used in the snow though.
Local STi owner used them last winter and found them to be pretty good, providing you're not stupid.

Couple of other local guys have them as well, they're impressed with their overall handling and pricepoint. 05 LGT owner says there's no hydroplaning on freeway, 02 RS owner says he likes their dry grip.

i don't really like mine. the treadwear is pretty decent, but then again, i'm not runnin these as hard as the last tires and i've only had the RSB on for 3 days...

we'll see.

i'm movin to rhode island in march, so i have a perfect excuse to get winter/summer tire and wheel sets.

i'll have some badass summer tires on rota SDRs.

In RI you could go either way. I had a '98 Legacy in New Hampshire with all-seasons it did OK except for STEERING in deep stuff. They get allot more wet-stuff in RI. :x At least it's better than NC! Welcome back to New England!

the size I got for $38 were the 195-60-15 they arn't bad in rain, I can't wait for the snow to come down like crazy so i can test these things out

Alright so it snowed up here in ny 8in and let me say i'm impressed with the traction. I went through 8in with no problem very little loss of control and well i'm just impressed with a 38$ tire can do.
