My BH has been having some issues lately. First off, found out the frame is bent. The front passenger side wheel has -2.8 degrees camber and the camber adjustment is all the way out. That's not the big issue, though. It's driveable, just needs constant tire rotations.

My real question is about an engine situation. About a week ago, the car would sometimes feel like it was about to stall when it was in park or neutral and RPM was 1250 and below. The RPMs wouldn't go down when this was happening, though, and it wouldn't do it all the time. It was mostly off and on. 3 or 4 days later, the check engine light comes on. I plugged in an OBDII code reader and it said "Air assisted Injection Circuit or Circuit Low." The guy at the local Subaru dealer wasn't helpful at all. All he told me was that it was "something to do with the fuel injection" and that he "could stand there all day guessing about the problem and still not be right." I'd have to "bring it into the shop and let them hook their computers up to it."

So before I do that, does anyone know what could cause this? I'd like to fix it myself (obviously), but I can't find anything on the internet about it.

The air assist injection valve is located on the top front passenger side of the intake. You can take it apart and clean it with a spray cleaner (like intake manifold cleaner, or mass air flow sensor cleaner). Very likely that valve is sticking and causing the code to appear. If you have a haynes manual, the pic is on page 6-21. On my car, the electrical connector to the valve is purple.

Thanks! I'll go check that out today after school. The code hasn't come back yet, which is moderately confusing.
