vs

Antinino's 8000k PnP kit in stock JDM projectors.

I took these with a video recorder so they arnt outstanding quality

Since the Kelvin rating is inversely proportional to the light output, the 5000K has approximately 3200 lumens output, whereas 8000K has an approximately 2550lm output. How does the JDM projector look with the 4900K HID bulb, or inversely the retro with the 8000K HID bulb? I absolutely agree that the TSX projector is better suited for HID optics since it was designed for it, but could the JDM projector perform satisfactorily just using a lower Kelvin rated HID bulb?

u should read my write up on HID.

there would still be hot spots and not an even spread. nor a wide spread of light. poor foreground
