Super easy to do it this way. Now im just waiting for everything to dry so I can reasemble it without making a mess.

looks a little thick or maybe its just the pictures.
that sure does beat the stock steel look.
(whispers)i woulda gone with orange(/whisper) yellow and red just seem overdone.

and orange isn't? I would've done something more subtle than red, personally, but its your look, and I don't think it'll look bad.

Exactly what sort of paint did you apply ?
Yeah I know it is suppost to be rather high temperature stuff. Normally one might apply the paint with a brush as the caliper caastings are fairly rough to begin with. Obviously you laid down some heavy coats of spray paint.
Did you use a spray can ? or did you use your specialized compressed air setup ?
Thanks.
PS. It would look nice if you could take a pic or three of the re-assemled calipers both before & after you put the wheels back on. I know Patick Olsen repainted his calipers Silver and his caliper brackets in a contrasting black.

I used a spray can of caliper paint. I let everything dry overnight (although it was dry enough to reassemble yesterday)

It probably would have been easier to use a paintbrush and such on the piston part.

Looks sharp. Don't worry, the bright paint will dull once the brake dust gets on it. I painted the calipers on my Jetta a few summers ago. After about 2 months its wasn't so bright looking anymore. I would try to clean them every time I had the wheels off at a Solo II event, they still look good just a little duller.
