It's just behind the hood popping lever under the dash. I have no idea what it does and just noticed it.

do you have a aftermarket alarm/keyless entry? if so. it might be a toggle switch for valet mode and to disable it

The stock keyless entry module reset is a button and is located (if you haven't moved it already) way in the back of the wiring harness. You wagon's previous owner might have moved it and modified it to what you have now, or you have an aftermarket unit.
Test it by disconnecting and reconnecting your battery. If your lights start flashing and or your alarm goes off, flick the switch and see what happens.

I've also seen switches installed there for remote car starters.

Well, the car came with an aftermarket keyless entry (DEI "myvalet"). It came broken and has never worked. I traced the wires, and they do indeed lead to the keyless module. When I flipped the switch, i discovered that it no longer makes a very faint click in the reciever under the dash, but it now makes a louder click in the door. I took apart the door, took off the actuator to check it out, and found that only the lock button seems to transmit from the old worn out remote, so it still doesn't work, but now I know that the actuator is even receiving a signal. I'm gonna buy a new remote and see if it works now.
Anyways, thanks for the input, guys, This has lead me to what may be the fix for my keyless.
