So I just realized what the results were to a race that a guy at school challenged me to. On the way home from school that I take sometimes, there's a long straightaway followed by a sharp right, then a short straightaway, then a sharp left, followed by a left kink, and then a straightaway again.

I'm behind this guy from school and he slows down and motions for me to get up beside him. He's in a newer Accord with a body kit, 18" rims, fart can exhaust, and "Euro style" tail lights. I get up beside him and we gun it at the same time in the middle of the first straightaway. I get to the first, right hand corner first and force him to fall in behind me to take the line. He can't pass me in time for the second, left hand corner, so again, he falls in behind me. When I took the right hand corner, I didn't think it was that fast. My Outback had hardly any body roll and there wasn't a loss of traction. Well, as it turns out, the guy I know in the Accord somehow did something stupid around that corner and ended up rolling his car into the ditch. I didn't even really look behind me when I went around the left kink. It wasn't until the straightaway that I looked behind me again, but I figured he must've turned off onto a side road at one point.

So now I kind of feel bad that I didn't go back and check on what happened. He's pissed at me because he wrecked his car (that makes no sense at all) and now he's stuck bumming rides off friends while I drive the Outback like any other day.

Note: This happened last week, it was just today that I found out that he rolled it.

shane, its his word against jg09 if that were to happen. Most likely they will believe jg09......cause hes driving an outback.

I don't think he'd really pin the blame on me, especially since he's okay, his car is just damaged (I haven't seen the extent yet). Honestly, after finding out what happened, I'll probably give up my days (or rather, day) of street racing. That was my first, last, and only time. People get hurt all the time up here from street racing and I don't want to be another person on the news that is portrayed as an "evil person" for racing.

It was the cops were to my friends. Nobody seen him there, someone said he goes to the gym with him and they tried to pin it on him. You think we live in a country where you are Innocent until proven guilty, well you are wrong haha

Don't play into bullshit games with other Young Drivers. You & Your Classmate are both lucky to not be seriously injured. Your also putting a lot of other motorists at risk when you race someone on public streets in broad daylight. Take it to the track if your trying to prove something

BTW, you should have gone back to check on your classmate, I think my conscience would have turned me around

Yeah, looking back I realize that I should've, though I thought he was a much better driver than he really is (I know he tries to make himself out to be a pro racer), so I just thought that he had taken a different route (I think there's three other side streets he could've turned off on). Anywho, said it once here, I'll say it again, tried street racing, saw how bad of an idea it was, not doing it again.

Now on the track...oooo...nobody from school will be safe from a good ass kicking from me then!
