00 impreza suspension compatable with 97 outback?

a friend of mine has spt springs with kyb shocks offered them to me for a decent deal, i was wondering if theyd fit(with alittle "negotion" perhaps?)

The GC rear tophats won't work because the bolt pattern is smaller.

Also, the springs aren't stiff enough so the car will sit very low, especially in the rear.

I'd pass, or grab them and re-sell if the deal is good enough ;)

i think ill give it a shot and if it doesnt work ill sell them, seems like the rears are the ones in question....noones else has seem to have done something like this(or if they have arent speaking up) so i might as well be the guinea pig for future references.
