H&R 29868 on a Wagon?

Is there any real difference between the suspensions on 97 sedans and wagons? I noticed that the H&R springs for the 90-98 models say they are for the sedan only, yet the 99-04 H&R springs say they work for sedan and wagon. Anyone know if I can put the H&R 29868 springs on my 97 OB (please, no comments about lowering the OB, it was all I could find with a 5MT at the time! And I already know about Legacy suspension parts on OBW's!)?

Yes the rear springs on a wagon would be stiffer since it weighs more. If you put sedan springs on back there it'll sag.

Noticible sag? I guess I may have to go with Intrax

Yeah, it'll be pretty noticeable. I wouldn't do it if I were you.

The spring rates are a little bit different. Still the spring rate on an aftermarket sedan spring is probably stiffer than the stock spring rate on a wagon spring. Whiteline makes springs for the wagon. I just got some. I'm having some issues getting them in as you'll see in my other thread in this section.

here's a little lesson, always buy the right part, it'll save you headaches/regret in the future. modding something to fit is only worth it if you're gonna make your car more unique and there are no negative consequences.
