Nice! White is an awesome color on BE's. Glade to see another Pacific Northwest member on here. We are going to have a PNW meet soon, you should think about going. http://www.sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?t=11155

Thanks guys. I was pretty happy with how the pics turned out, for just using a pretty cheap basic camera. I LOVE this car. Still deciding how far I want to go with the mods though. so many ideas so little time & $$$

woohoo im famous
ya, i'm pretty religious about washing and waxing, but I was honestly blown away by what a difference the claybar made. It's like having a brand new paint job.

got backed into this weekend.
Anyone have a front bumper for a BE they want to sell?
I'd prefer a 03-04 or a jdm
I'll post this in wanted also.

I'll give you my front bumper from an '01 LGT. Just pay for shipping which would probably be too expensive anyway from Canada. Just a thought. It's been sitting in my shed for a year.

airgne switched to an outback bumper, he may still have his 00-02 gt bumper and he's in WA...

OR you can go to an outback bumper yourself...I see a couple of them on ebay for around $150 shipped...

got the damage fixed. Had a friend at a body shop fix it for about a third of the insurance check I got :smt023
Also got a custom shift boot and ebrake boot from redline goods. Awesome product, really dressed up the console area. Also put in led lisense plate and backup lights-not to happy with the backup's, might put the stockers back in. Thinking about window tint and yellowing the fogs next.

Finally got around to meshing out my grill. I used gutter guard screen and epoxied it on. Then painted with Plastidip spray. Seemed to work pretty good.

I'm debating debadging the trunk and using the GT badge on the grill. What do you think?

there are holes behind the gt badge. tape them up from the inside so you dont get water in if you do take it off.

Ya, there's a 4zero1 motorsports decal there for now courtesy of Reason
I had the GT badge on the grill, but it fell off. now the mesh is falling out. I guess the epoxy was the wrong kind or something. May have to get creative and redo the whole thing.
Now that I think of it, the holes were behind the Legacy badge, not the GT.

Just realized that I never put pics of my painted woodgrain up here. Here you go :smt023 Switch bezels on front doors are also painted to match, just not in this pic.

The painted wood ggrain looks really good, I hate the look of mine and was thinking of painting it to match the outside,

how did you get the peices to the left and right of the steering wheel off? is there a trick?

Thanks, I was pretty happy with it. You can't really tell in the pics, but the paint is actually a hammered aluminum, so it has some texture to it. The trim pieces just snap out. carefully start on one corner and pull. they should come right out.

Did the big 3 in the engine bay. new Alt - battery wire, and new ground wires from battery - engine - body - strut tower - back to engine. Maybe I'll post a pic later, but it looks about like every one elses who's done it

OK, here's a couple pics. I also replaced the turn indicator bulbs so they would flash blue. Still have to do the fog and cruise button bulbs. I am super happy with the way this turned out.

Put on my new shoes! I got a screaming deal on brand new 2011 WRX takeoffs, and put 225/45/17 toyo proxes 4's on them. I think it looks amazing. here's a couple cell phone shots for now.
