KBY GR2 Help..

So.. its raining out right now, but i have my rear left strut separated from the rotor and everything, but i can't figure out how to get it unmounted. But the big question i have is, is the stock tophat of 1995 subaru legacy L compatable with the GR2? becuase i kinda didn't know to order those and i only have this weekend before i have to go back to my dorms 220 miles away so i can't really order the tophat.

Your stock tophat is compatible with the GR2 - providing you bought the correct GR2.

Your rotors have nothing to do with your strut - you have two bolt holes in the strut that connect to your hub - you need to remove those two bolts and then the three strut top nuts from the tophat.

OK thank god that struts are compatable, i ordered the 1995 legacy L struts so they should be the right ones lol. Alright sweet i'll do them now

How do i remove the rear strut? I know to unbolt the hub, but i cant figure out how to unbolt it from the frame.

You have to remove your rear seats - the strut top is tucked behind them, you'll have to remove part of your interior and loosen the top-hat from there.

I just did this today so it's pretty fresh in my mind.

do i need to drain my rear brake lines in order to detach them from the strut?

yeah you only have to remove the brake line if you don't cut the bracket for the brake lines. otherwise it can easily be done without having to remove/bleed the brakes.
