Is there a trick to removing the rear wiper?

I've neglected this for a couple years now. I need to remove the rear wiper and can't seem to figure out if i can get the plastic cover off without breaking it. Is there a trick to it?

Start lifting it from the right side of the cover (opposite where the arm sits). It just clips onto the arm assembly. Try to do it in a warmish ambient temperature if youre worried about the plastic, but theyre pretty tough.

The hard part is once you have the cover off and remove the little 8mm nut, getting the arm off the motor stalk. I had to cut a notch in mine to relieve pressure and break the years of metal bondage.
