except this stuff over here is watered down. plus we had 91 octane as "regular"

Man am I glad I'm out of that boat. My BMW took premium (I only used 93 Shell Vpower too) and it was a bitch. I sold it right before premium toppled over $4 a gallon. Good thing considering how much it loved to drink.

On the other hand, it would be nice to have the reason you have to use premium: turbo power.

These days, I ride for pleasure rather than necessity, but with OPEC talking about trying to reduce the oil supply and jacking up fuel prices, that could change soon. It's just not very fun apexing long sweepers on a bicycle. :lol:

Driving less has definitely been my solution. I get paid every 2 weeks, and I managed to space out my filling up to 2 paychecks apart. It's awesome!
