I'm wondering if you can play two different x box at the same time in the same house on the same DSL line?

I know that I've played with roommates and brothers that are playing on the same line before. As long as my brother isn't uploading on limewire, I can play the fuck otuta somwe 360 no matter what else they're doing. I'm on cable tho.

I like to get COD4 and Assassins Creed. I was told GTA4 was over rated, I won't say names haha.

Assassins Creed is gay...IMO...i got it as a xmas present and sold it for $55 the next day :grin: :grin:

I don't know how it works at home with routers there. But i have a router network set up in my room at school, and i can't join games that my roomate was in for COD4. It sorta sucked, cus that dude blew hard, and i wanted to shove it in the face for all the shit talking he did.

I'm pretty sure it's cus im at school tho. HOPEFULLY.

I had two routers, so i lent him one, we were both on two different ports, two different routers.

Redline, we've actually had problems in the past where people, even not in the same house, haven't been able to join the same room because of router troubles. Some older routers are not Xbox Live "compatible" and make things a mess. Might try a new router?

As far as GTA4 goes, yeah, it was a little over rated. I don't normally play GTA online unless I'm drinking and playing with a bunch of friends. The single player part of the game is pretty bad ass tho imo.

On a slightly related tangent, my 360 Arcade package qualified for the $20 for 20GB HDD upgrade program that Microsoft started seeing as this new Dashboard now requires 128meg of storage... previously all my saved games etc went on my memory card, and all my movies/music were from an external HDD.

I had avoided the HDD's because I didn't want to get sucked into paying for content.

Now though, with the 60Gb and 120Gb HDD's out on the market, people like me qualify for the nice bolt-on 20Gb upgrade...cost me $21.24 with tax, free shipping.

Reason - this might be a good way for you to get into a no-frills Xbox 360 - buy an HDMI'd Arcade package $150, qualify for the 20Gb HDD and you're running a good system for under $180.

Besides... you know they'll be releasing a 180Gb drive next year, unless the 360's successor is released before then!

I just played COD4 last night. I didn't play on live, just the standard game. I'm not sure if I was even close to the game but I think I play for 4 hours. Get your practice in, I'm going to put a slug in your head.
