Sloshing water inside my dashboard!!

So in the mornings when I start my car and rev it just a bit.. I hear a sloshing water sound behind my dash.. I'm guessing it has to do with the coolant and something.. but uh.. what exactly?

Could be the beginnings of a blocked AC drain hose... did you run the windscreen defrost last night?

As in the rear windshield defroster? Nope.. I only run that in the mornings and then turn it off.

The sloshing is only apparent when I first start the car in the mornings.. then goes away after about 5 minutes and you can only hear it when you rev the engine a bit.

AC Drain hose.. how difficult is that to replace?

Ah.. yes yes, I did run that.. I always do actually. My heat setting is always on defrost/feet.

Its your heater box! i think :eek: ..I had the same problem with the slushing water sound awhile ago. It all just seem to went away now, so i dont really know what to say.

Check to make sure you have condensation draining out of the car when the AC is switched off - should be a puddle under the car after a few minutes of driving. If there's no puddle - you have a blockage.
