I scored a cheap exc conditon Borla for $150

Install was easy , except for the removal of the collector bolts from the old manifolds .I heated up with a propane torch /applied penetrating oil ...applied brute force with 1/2" breaker bar /14mm socket/wrench....the nut stripped ....bolts threads ok........? weird...!

I was able to reuse the old gaskets w/no leaks(only 3years old/36k on them.) No header wrap or ceramic coating 300miiles later no CEL......!

Nice power gains throughout the powerband/smoother acceleration........!
Oh yeah! The sound is great ....a nice lowend rumble at idle and @ WOT it just flat out sounds wicked!

Not your mommies wagon anymore........!!! I love the looks on those who hear this wicked sound come from a wagon! Makes me laugh! "dragon within" I'll need a sticker that says "you just got beat by a wagon!"

I have skidplates/bashplate . However , they don't fit now since the header hangs down an inch lower so they will have to be modded to fit.

Funny.... it would take more than a 20lb sledge to bend my Primitive skidplate!
It's an 1/8 " thick folded! BOMBER!!!

I will mark with blueing ink and cut with a die grinder and have that section recovered and welded!!!

yeah, I was mostly joking. If they protect your engine and body, then they have to be super strong. Just make sure you reweld that portion that sticks out with some stronger metal because it may have to support a lot of weight if it hits...
