took my intake manifold gasket and matched to head and manifold theres a 1/8 of area that is extra i was gonna take out the extra area out wondering if anyone else has performed this let me know if its worth it

I havent read much of that around here. Im not saying no one has done it, just dont hear about it much. I have heard about people doing it with other cars and they say it helps your performance.

yes people have done it. (i have on a previous car) but that was on a fully built motor so i couldnt tell you any difference. i wouldnt recommend with assembled heads. because all the shavings will fall right down the head.

I'll try to remember to give feedback once i get me porting and valve angle job done this weekend. my car is stock so i should be able to give a solid baseline reference. sorry, no dyno results tho.
