Anyone still have Windows 95/98 games? Or do you even play old DOS games on your pc? Let me know what you play!

Not lately, but some of my old pc games include

Ultima Underworld 1 and 2
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Car and Driver
Stunts
...and others

Feedback please!

Syndicate...if it actually ran at a slower speed.

I broke out Deus Ex the other day. :D

I wish Populous ran.

I played Syndicate a loooooong time ago. I remember the persuadertron, and the resulting mob you could walk around with.

Atlantica will always be the hardest level out of the entire game. Remember shooting off rockets?

Is Deus Ex any good?

Is Deus Ex any good?

Uh, YES!

It is the original "consequential" open-ended game. it's primarily a FPS/stealth game with RPG elements but you literally can kill/not kill major plot characters which wildly changes the storyline.

I've actually yet to finish it, mainly because I spent so much time wandering around the early levels trying to figure out how to stealth-solve puzzles/combat situations instead of blowing stuff up.

It's awesome.

Oh, I forgot Star Control II!

And XCOM: UFO was a great one. They're actually remaking XCOM but "they" are a non-profit bunch of enthusiasts:

lol old games?

I play NES maybe once a week, I got bored with it quick because I beat all the games. I havent played in two weeks now.

My Atari 5200 hook ups just came in. I just need a RF into a component converter or something. Any suggestions?

PS2 I have just beaten Metal Gear Solid 2 a few days ago ( I thought I never beat up before but did) Anyone play MGS3??

I may get on a Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 kick again on PS2.

Just got Max Payne again. Have played the second one a half-dozen times, but not the first in years and years.

Wanna remember the game plot before I get disappointed by the movie.

I think Max Payne's game plot was more about seeking out and getting rid of the biggest drug lord(s) of the city (your family is murdered at the beginning of the game by people that are high on a specific drug).

Whoa - I forgot about Star Control 2. Tokyo Extreme Racer ANYTHING is pretty much a rush for niche fans like myself. (I haven't tried Tokyo Extreme Racer Drift games yet, though.)

I remember playing Space Quest 1, 2, 3, and 4, too.

I downloaded Kirby's Adventure for the wii. The original version is from the NES.

Also, freespace and freespace 2 look absolutely stunning on my 37" LCD TV with my pc hooked up.

SQ1, aw snap. The humor in that game was awesome.

Freespace, I never did complete those but they were great to play.

I played all of Sierra's "quest" games - Kings Quest, Police Quest, Space Quest... had them all. Beat them all.

Anyone remember Ultima IV? Richard Garriott creations? Traverse the land, saving it from evil, traveling to parallel dimensions and helping out citizens.

Ohh, Eye of the Beholder for FPS RPG. "Diablo" up front and personal.

Street Legal was supposed to be a pretty interesting title. If you youtube "Street Legal" and find the computer game clips, you see people playing around with cars that have swapped engines...

(Sorry for bringing old posts back, but) I can't stop thinking of this. My favorite game of all time on my favorite system of all time.

I went to a friend's house and he had his old N64 (mine is at another friend's house :smt010 ) and........... The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time! I beat the Deku Tree in about 30 mins; it was nothing but awesome.

I just bought NFL Blitz 2002. You know, the one where it keeps track of late hits instead of penalizing you for them.

It's not super old but...meh.

Oregon Trail:

The original version of The Oregon Trail(K+T) was created in 1971 by three student teachers at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota[1], using a mainframe computer. [2] One of these students, senior Don Rawitsch, had the idea to create a computer program for a history class he was teaching, and recruited two of his friends, Paul Dillenberger and Bill Heinemann, both of whom were students teaching math, to help him. In 1974 Rawitsch took a job at Minnesota Educational Computing Consortium, or MECC, a state-funded organization that developed educational software for the classroom. He uploaded his game into the organization's network where it could be accessed by schools across Minnesota, and it proved so popular that it was released and sold on floppy disk in 1985, when the format became popular. Several updated versions were released between 1991 and 2001.[1]

This section is applicable to the 1985 Apple II release of The Oregon Trail.

I played Gold Rush a lot as a kid. It was a similar format to OT.

I just remembered the title of an old game I loved to play: Front Mission 3. It was released on the original Playstation back in 99:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Front_Mission_3

It was awesome. I have some serious Mech-love and this game let you customize and gain experience with different mech (Wanzer) configs.
It had a great story too, and it was turn-based combat which meant it was more like chess...good fun. Less twitch, more plan.
