Here is my 98 Legacy. Im sorta a n00b, I just love to snowboard and I like cars and this car kicks ass in the snow (and everywhere else)! So here is what I have so far with my limited modding funds. Hope you like it.

On one weekend I painted the logo and the calipers. I bought some WRX wheels for my summer tires and am using the snowflake legacy wheels on my winter tires.

More recently I have tinted the windows (15% around the back 35% on the front sides) and I replaced the broken power antenna with a standard rubber one thats about half as tall as the power antenna.

I just installed an amp and sub yesterday and will have pics of that later. Nothing special on the engine yet, havn't really gotten that far yet. Looking at JDM tails next.

Looking nice. Where in Wa are you?

Looking good. Did you get some sort of kit or something to paint the calipers?

JDM tails was going to be my next suggestion for you. And clearing your corners. I think it'd really help tie everything together.

In Bellingham, WA. And I agree with the clearing the corners. I used the duplicolor caliper painting kit from Schucks it was like $19.

That site for the caliper decals, it comes with the a few different subaru decal options on one sheet.

I will get some interior shots up tonight after I finish the sub install.

Nice Legacy. Always good to have another Northwest member on here.

Where do you like snowboarding? I got a season's pass to Mt. Hood Meadows this year. Usually I go Timberline/ Ski Bowl... one year I had a pass to Bachelor. Bachelor is the shit if you ever make it out to central Oregon. I want to go to Crystal, never been.

Car is an automatic...
I had a Forester and sold it to buy a sedan so was without a car for 3 months trying to find one and when I came across this it was too good to pass up. 90k and $4,500 so not complaining.

I snowboard at Mt. Baker, I usually dont get into seattle to board much and have never been boarding in oregon but would love to! I also ride a lot at Cypress, and Sun Peaks in Canada.

Finished the sub install and will have photos of interior tomorrow, got too dark for photos tonight.

No problem! I actually sorta copied someone off the LegacyGT.com forums. Some people were using the decal in the set with the cut out letters and painting the Subaru on then removing the decal so it was painted on instead.

I was thinking about putting a clear coat on top of the decal so i didn't ruin them in the winter.

Yeah, I might do that this weekend. I'm going to paint the caliper black and a silver sticker. And does that sticker size comes in a set of 4? I'm going to do the rear too.

Comes like this, there are two different slightly smaller sizes that work awesome on the back but there is only 3 of each sticker.

Ahh cool I hadn't seen those decals but they look sweet.

Heres my interior pics and some random shots of the sub/amp install, nothing unusual on the inside, driver seat is starting to wear would like to upgrade the seats someday soon. We hid all the wires nicely on the drivers side panels in the floor and put the amp on the spare tire.

You car is sick, those models are way lighter than the BE generation, they have the same motor and tranny.

Very clean, keep it in good shape, eventually you can swap something in there if interested, WRX/STI engines are getting cheaper and cheaper.

No they don't. They don't have the same engines. The 00-04's have a SOHC engine.

Today I replaced the HVAC Control bulbs. Made a huge difference for night driving! Wasn't super hard either with the guide from LegacyGT.com thanks to Aczwild! I used white bulbs without the green cover.

Mt Baker FTW!!!!! best mountain i have ever ridden in my life, and i've been to quite a few.

Nice to see another bellinghammer (no we don't actually use that term.... very often) on here. I go to WWU, but grew up in Seattle. I am gonna be installing JDM headlights soon so if you are interested i'd hook you up with my cleared corners for a good deal so you don't have to risk baking them too much.

What neighborhood do you live in? I'm a south end guy (happy valley/fairhaven)

Hopefully i'll see you up at the mountain since it opened yesterday!!!!!!! (Finally!!)

Good luck with the car, let me know if you need any help or have any questions. I know some good resources up here for subie work and such, and have quite a bit of experience personally as well.

Also, how much did you pay for your tints and where did you get them done, i really need some tint!

Check out my ride when you get a chance, it's likely you'll see me mobbing around town or up mt. baker hwy in the next few months

Seriously. None of my air-direction buttons light up either. What size bulbs do those require?
