all I can find for my 04 coilover-wise are JIC, and cusco. any other options? because it seems kinda scarce to me. that and I'm not looking to spend $2000+ on coilovers that I probably wont be too thrilled with.

You have to pay to play. Any reason why you want a coilover?

ride height adjustability, bound/rebound adjustability, camber adjustability(in the front, at least). just all around performance. and its not that I wont put down a decent chunk of cash, its just that in my opinion, JIC never uses stiff enough spring rates, and cusco is waaayyy overrated when it comes to build quality.
I was talking on nasioc's legacy forum, and it doesnt seem like the 05-08 coilovers would be a direct bolt on for my car, which sucks, because they have a much better selection, which includes the full line from tein, and other various well-spoken-for manufacturers. but it looks like the only reason they wouldnt fit is because of the damper-spindle/hub assy. mount bolt spacing. and I have a slight inkling that the 05+ spindles might fit on a bh, and a cheap parts source for oem stuff like that, so I might see if the spindles fit, and go with a tein flex set retrofitted with the 05+ spindles.
and if the spindles dont fit, I'll probably focus on building another car, and using this as a DD

Those aren't really reasons to run a coilover - a reason to run a coilover would be "I'm building an autox car" or "I'm planning on some road courses".
What you have listed are just features of a coilover setup.

I dont have to be building a track car in order to run coilovers either though. I like playing around with suspension settings, and finding the best adjustments. I also like to drive on the mountains around here, and I hate how limited I am with the stock suspension/tires/etc. I've already gone as fast as I can with a stock car, now I want to modify.
