I plan on running Seafoam thru my trans for a day or two , see if shifting improves. I want to put on a cheapo filter for this experiment,,,,are there any Fram or others that will screw on?

the filters are expensive $30-40. you can just run the seafoam with the current filter. then drain the pan. fill with new fluid and a new filter.

just drainign the fluid from the pan still leaves a ton of fluid in the trans, you would need to "flush" the trans to get out all the old fluid
