AM I ALONE???

I'm new this forum, and subarus in general. I have always been into DSMs (90-99 mitsu eclipse turbo). But if anyone has ever had one they know how much they are un-reliable. Well I got rid of another one and needid a car, so I picked up a 96 Legacy L 5-spd. SWEEEET CAR! But I noticed no one else seems to have one in my aria. I'm in northern california. So is it true? Am I relly alone?

Lol that's true. I had a 95 GS-T all stock. As soon as I put on the 16G turbo it started falling apart. My brother inlaw has one all stock and it keeps going and going and going...

ahh. a DSM guy. the awd turbos are fun to drive but... are a little unrelibable. and hate the front suspension design (two lower ball joints) maybe because i changed a lower trailing arm tonight. but anyways welcome to the world of subarus

Oh MAN! DSM's been there, broke that. I had a non-turbo Talon. loved the car, but not reliable. I went through 2 tranny's and I GAVE it away.

Welcome to the world of Subaru!!! Living in NorCal and close to Frisco you might be a standout but in the Gold Country Foothills you're not alone. I've parked my Outback next to another and the only difference at the time was the fact I have tinted windows. Now there is a green one up in me neck of the woods with tinted windows too but mine has stickers on the quarter windows and no front plate, the ONLY way most tell mine from the rest. It seems to be so that I'm a standout. And I love it. Sometimes ill go to the gass station or sumpthin and once someone driving an 08 wrx said "is that a legacy?". Then he smiled. I relly wanto mod it more. But first I gota get my woman her own car cause we share it. But as soon as she's got her own wheels I'm jumpin on the first WRX or even :-) :-) ST-I swap I can get. I miss my turbo monster...

There seems to be hardly any Subies (except STis) in Cali, from what I've seen. When I went down to Huntington Beach for a while, I only saw 2. An Outback near Carlsbad and a Baja on Catalina Island.
