Most probably have seen this or already have done it, but i finaly decided to do it and it took forever to find the link so....

http://www.scoobymods.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6627

I can't imagine why or whether its a CDN model thing or not, but I actually had to wire my switched power to the other silver terminal on the fog light relay than what the write up says.

Also, the connector he found with switched power is for the rear washer pump motor on wagons. I tapped into it as well and it works great.

Hope this helps

I just did mine today (98 OBW).....I tapped into the keyless entry, so now when I lock the doors with my remote my fogs flash as well!! The main thing is I have fogs with just parking lights and also with the highs on!!!! Love it now!!

Now if the headlights would just give off a better pattern I would be laughin!

how exactly did you do this?
So how's the weather up there? I used to live in Kaslo. Kinda miss the area sometimes. Not many places as beautiful as the kootenays

I searched tons of threads and websites to find the mod. I just got the basic idea and went at it until I found the right wires and relays. Oh ya I disabled the DRL as well....had to do that anyways cuz I have to rewire the headlights eventually anyways. Might as well just make one trip to the Chiropracter!!!

So I just grabbed my test light and started looking for a wire that had power when the parking lights were on. I found a wire that was already tapped for the keyless entry module (flashes the parking lights when locking with the remote) and just put a tap on it. I cut the yellow/blue to the foglight relay and ran a wire to the tap. Only thing is when I run just parking lights and put the fogs on the indicator on the foglight switch doesn't illuminate. Minor problem but not a concern......

The weather is great...Not as cold as it was this time last year and no snow yet...but it's comin!!! Can't wait!!
I live in the Shuswap. Moved from the "wet" coast a few years ago. Living on a lake on the side of a mountain.....twisty dirt roads....Subaru heaven!
