Just wondering if they will fit? Are they big enough to fill the Outback Fog Light openings? Or will they show a gap?

Most pics I've seen do not show the dimensions well enough to tell if they'd fit without a large gap in the OB bumper openings.

are you talking about the 96 L projector fogs?

I'm wondering if these are a fairly easy retrofit?

Easy? Probably not. Those are pretty small compared to the Outback fogs. Can it be done? Sure, where there's a will, there's a way. But I'd imagine you'd need something around them to fill the hole cuz it'd look pretty weird IMO.

Why not just buy some good aftermarket foglights? The stock L fogs are OK, but they'll look weird in that bumper opening.

I'll trade bumpers with ya, if you like

Idunno??
Comparing pictures of those fogs, it looks like the same mounting bracket that my OB has.
If so, My OB lens protrudes outside of the bracket about an inch.
Doesn't it look like the black plastic trim on those do the same?

Well, I got a set coming. We'll see if they are compatible.

I have those lights on my BK and they will deffinately look out of place those lights are about the size of your palm of ur hand and wont look right but if u get a bumper used off a member for a legacy L or the ones that look like it then they fit right in the whole. If i were u though the light output on larger round lights are far better than the small projector looking ones. Belive me i know im switiching over due because of heavy snow and deer. get a good set of Hella , PIAA , KC highlighter they all will cost about the same and bive you much better light.

Yep, I agree. I have them in hand and they are considerably smaller. I could fill around them. But I think I'll do some Hella's.

My OEM ones are really bad. Chipped, pitted, cracked.
