I found a EJ20 twin turbo online for an impreza and i was wondering if that would work on a 1997 Subaru Legacy GT, i realize quite a bit of modifaction would be needed most likely if it would work. but if anyone has advise or could point me in the right direction that would be great.

I'd suggest doing a little bit of light reading on the swaps and Forced Induction forum... pretty much all of this has been covered.

I did exactly that this past summer. I installed a jdm ej208 from a 1998 legacy into my usdm lhd 2000 legacy wagon. It can be done! I still have both turbos too.

How much did it cost ya for the whole entire install? Concidering they needed to mod it to make it fit right.
