Tires are RE92s. (bleurgh)

Would be thrown on the waggy for summer.

I think that they would look all right. They would fill in the wheel well a little bit more.

They'd look good. Almost all the newer wheels look great on the 2nd gens. :-) Not to mention, if you do a 4-pot upgrade, you'll have clearence (not that it was a problem with the 16x7's in the pic anyway).

Am I the only one that thinks that $350 for some stock wheels without tires is way too much? Those wheels are heavy too. You can get some RS 16x7's for less than that, save money AND save weight. Plus even if they came WITH RE92's they might as well come with no tires at all because RE92's are like driving on a bunch of condoms glued together.
EDIT: I just looked at the pic, you've already got some pimp RS 16x7's in gunmetal. Waste $350 on something else. But thats just my opinion.

Best analogy ever.

^ thanks. Literally I could *shit* an RE92 if I tried hard enough. And swallowed enough condoms first.

Yeah seems a little expensive - I've seen them go for less on NASIOC.

Plus do you really want 17" wheels? Have you looked at your tire selection? The reason I stuck with 16s (and I have 3 sets of 16s now) is because there are tons of available tires and all at very good prices. Plus a 55-series provides decent performance without giving the suspension a rough pounding all day.

The RE92s aren't THAT bad - I've driven on worse tires believe me. At least they offer predictable performance and are actually kind of fun to slide around in - they work best at around 55 psi

These wheels look amazing on BD/BG's. I'd do it. But I'm also in the market for tires. A set of 4 decent tires is around $450, so getting wheels in the deal is always nice.

No offense to anyone, but I think those wheels look like complete ass. I think they're one of the worst looking OEM wheels. I don't think the design looks good at all on the BD/BK. They do however look decent on the BE/BH. I think the 5 spoke 17" BL/BP wheels look a lot better and can be had for the same kinda cash. What ever happened to those 17" B4 wheels you had on before?

Sold them to Markus. Didn't really want them. :)

I happen to think that style wheel is very nice and looks awesome on the 2nd gens. I would have got them for the BE, but I wanted 18", so I got the 3.0R's which are similar.

Anyways, I would get them, I would offer him/her $400 with the tires, RE92's aren't bad for a daily driver. Just to make sure, but the tires in the pics aren't 92's, but you knew that I'm sure.

I would give them a shot, not sure if I like that wheel in black, but hey, just paint them if they suck, and if you still don't like them, sell 'em. Experiment, part of car modding goodness (I'm on my 6th wheel).

Good luck man.

Voted.

I believe the only way those rims look good is painted black, but I'd say that about most any wheel.

Black, dark gunmetal and dark bronze FTW.
