*LOL* funny thing you mentioned that! It is being brought home tonight. My office is moving and I was able to purchase our mini fridge / freezer for $15.00 out the door hahaha and it is a 2005 model and nice! Also if you notice the large white box next to my black and silver workbench, that is a freezer that holds all the microwave foods :) Now I just need a microwave and I will never have to go in the house again! "garage is heated and ac unit being installed january!

I asked myself that after the 3rd pic. Jeremy great setup, looks like you are going to have some good times there. Enjoy!

Nice looking AE86. I've owned two of them in the past but unfortunately, they rusted apart. Fifteen years in the northeast will do that to a car.

What engine are you swapping in? Is that an MR-2 motor?

That garage is one sweet setup ! Is that your hot water tank in the garage ? If so, I assume you don't have a basement ?

My guess on the motor is its either from an MR2 Turbo or Celica All-Trac but probably the former as they were more popular. Second guess is its quite possibly a JDM motor as its so clean. At least from a Northern perspective that's one hell of a clean motor given its age.

I "almost" owned an AE86 way back in '91. Had save up lots of $$ to buy a mint one and ran into an '84 Supra a mechanic buddy had bought with a blown motor and replaced. Back then the Supra was the "better" car and the price was right so that's what I bought. At this point they're all rusted out here in Canada and exceptionally rare in any condition.

Goddamn, I wish I had a heated garage with a (*gasp*) cement floor

That is VERY COOL, Jeremy, I'll have to come down to 'zona some time :D

Hey guys. The 86 is a friends I am building for him. He is getting the jdm high comp you can see under the towel on the engine stand.

The 3sgte turbo motor is from a 1999 toyota caldina which was a japan only car. It is the most rare of the 3sgte engines and last of it's kind produced. Stock was under rated at 265hp at the crank "dynos often showed it putting down 260 to the wheels not crank in stock trim meaning it was really putting out close to 290+crank hp because the car was awd and an auto." It is so clean because it has 26K actual miles on it :) Only ugly parts came from the boat trip over and the salty air rusted what could rust but that can be cleaned by by my glass bead cabinet!

Also I am located in Arizona, we do not really have many basement houses here. I would say only 1 in 300 built here have a basement if that many.

As for the heat, it is only used for a month or two in the winter. We are still in the 70's F at night here hahaha! The ac unit being installed in january is my biggest pride and joy to come! We often get into the 115F range in the summer.

Your missing a few things

1. TV/DVD/Satellite
2. A keg of Mountain Dew
3. A Refrigerator for Food not a ICE BOX, don't want to walk al the way to the kitchen do you?
4. And one last thing where is that body kit for that CAR?

#1 TV is already wired in, just trying to find a place to put it.
#2Keg of mountain dew... well there is lots of it in the fridge in the house "for now
#3 Like the post said above, brought the mini fridge home yesterday but still trying to find out were to put it!
#4 it is not my car, but the kid has $$$ and will be doing carbon fiber front bumper, rear bumper, skirts, hood and doors.

Also I have 1 up for your post. It was not there at the time of the pic but the garage has it's own laptop with obd2 code reader etc... also wireless internet, the radio is gone and there is a altec lansing sub / sat setup for audio and that tool box is not empty, I actually need two of them to house all the tools haha!

You need to post your garage on http://www.garagejunkies.net
For everyone else, just check it out. It's a great forum to lurk in as well. Lot's guys with really cool shops/garages, tons of great ideas. Yours would fit right in. I was keeping up with it for a while, but have been too busy lately. I haven't had time to post pics of mine, of course it's nothing special. You have a really nice looking garage.
