WHAT ABOUT SOME SLI DECALS?

I CANT HELP BUT FEEL THE NEED TO GET SOME SLI CLUB STICKERS MADE. IM NOT A "DECALS ON MY CAR" KIND OF GUY BUT I DUNNO, I NEVER REALLY SAW ANYTHING THAT WAS WORTHY ENOUGH TO DISPLAY.
THAT WAS UNTIL IT FOUND THIS SITE. :-D IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED OR KNOWS OF ANY PLACE TO GET THESE MADE COUNT ME IN! THAT IS IF THE ADMINISTRATOR APPROVES. I DONT WANNA STEAL ANY TRADEMARKS.

Actually we are currently working on getting some decals made, either with the logo in the top left or with the words underneath. We're still working out decals but if everything works out you should be able to order them with your username underneath so you can identify other members if you happen to see them pass (just wait til we really get the word spread and hopefully you will see people, otherwise it will be nice at meets). More details to come.

I been working with a guy that does decals and stuff for my car club. If Jeremy dosen't get these decals this guy would be great. He said he could set up a "user store" online for our members. He does decal, hast and T shirts.

Well ideally we'll start selling some t-shirts and anything else we can to raise some money for our own domain. I'm working on getting everything set up to make us some shirts, sweatshirts, etc etc, if anyone is good with photoshop and can make a silhouette (wow spelling) of the front of a BC, BD, BE, or BL that would be awesome, I may be able to do the sli logo on the front and a Legacy ouline on the back, we'll see how much I can do once I get all setup, I'll be making the shirts so everything will be made to order, and all money made will go directly to keeping this site running and ultimately getting our own domain. The 4agtoys shirts and decals will be for the old-school members!

I would definitely rock a tshirt, hoodie, or even like a mechanics work shirt with the SLi logo above the pocket. However, I would opt more towards just an SLi logo, the silouette would be hard to produce one for each body style legacy on the work shirt or hoodie. However, I like the idea and would def buy a few :twisted:

Edit: I didnt read that you were making the shirts yourself. In that case, you could potentially make all the different silhouettes. bangin man, keep me updated as to when you are taking orders

Yeah, window sticker decals and maybe a small back window decal would be cool. Probably the STi style SLi logo or something like that. In case I ever run into Masube. Or I might see some other people when I'm out in NY in the summer. It'd be cool to see another Legacy with the SLi sticker in it. and it would be a good conversation piece....

Get a domain name first. I use the bookmarking system, but its much easier when I'm not on my own computer to remember something other than 4agtoys

Well it seems like a majority of you guys/gals would like to see our own domain name, and if you want that pre-production of decals, you could always make donations to the site through paypal to desertheatracing. I'll try to find the email address he uses, I remember he had it posted on the old forum. Even if you want to send 5 bucks, if a good amount of us send that much then we'll have enough for our own domain name and to maintain it until we get the decals going. I'll try to contact Jeremy to get the details, but that sounds like the best route to go. I want to get this decal/t-shirt thing settled soon, so if the consensus is to get our own domain first, lets all start by donating a little bit to get the ball rolling on that!

I don't have paypal but I do use bidpay or I could send a money order. I want to see this decal/domain thing get off the round do I am going to dedicate every penny I get from parting out the rest of my legacy to the cause.

I want people around me to know my affiliation to the site and want them to join too if they roll a roo. Because there are not that many Subarus where I live I have a tendency to follow people and let them know about this site.

I got impatient yesterday so I went to the local sticker shop and ordered me up (2) Pink 3x6 SLi stickers for my legacy.

Sorry, but I'd rather buy the decals from one of the admin so I'd know (in good faith) that the money made in profit would be going towards getting us a domain name, etc. Otherwise, I'll have my own made.

I'm not about profit. I'm about the love of the car and board. If the admins want to do something like this then that is fine, they can charge a profit and apply it to the board. If the admins would like, I could do all the foot work and then send them a profit (set by the admins and myself) and I simply bidpay them a money order to put towards the site. I don't mind pulling my weight around here.

If it's a security issue yall worry about then please know that I am more than willing to give all admins my name, home address and phone number. I'm not going to take anyones money. Besides, anyone sending payment will have to mail it to me so they will have my home address anyways.

I don't know if I am going to stay with my sgticker guy because he doesn't have a scanner. He has to have his "art" guy CADD up the logo and then make the decals. A guy I used to go to had a scanner and he was real quick about it.

For the moment he is printing up (2) 3x6 deacals for the rear window of my car.

I was just doing it to show my love for the board but it people like lie the work then they can let me know and I can approach local lettering guys.

There are a ton of vinyl sign guys near me so I'm sure if I went to them and told them what I have and what kind of business I could bring them, then maybe they will give me a bulk discount.

There are also guys on ebay that advertise decals cheap.

Thats somewhat along the lines of what I'm going for...below the SLI logo will be the words "subaru legacy International" either on the side like above or below it, then a line, your username, then a box with cleared letters of the website (aka very similar to nesics design, just looks too damn good in person not to try). GGT's going to make it for me when he gets a chance to sit and play with photoshop, until then we'll see what reason turns up with. Once I get a design in hand and you guys have donated enough for us to switch to our own domain name, then I'll be going over to www.rallydecals.com (http://www.rallydecals.com) and working with them on setting up our own account.

P-body and 2DL, so far that I am aware of I have put $20 in, deadlegs has 10? ...so that brings us to 30. We need about 50 bucks for jeremy to get us a domain name to cover all the fees and yadda yadda, any extra that comes in above that will go towards keeping the site running and the domain ours, as well as seed money for the decal and t-shirt production. So please! Donate anything you can, 5 bucks, 20 bucks, whatever you can spare right now to help us out. Even if we just get 10 members out of 170 to donate 5 bucks we'll be doing alright for now.
