So I took one off. sanded it down real nice. just sprayed with some primer. now its drying in my garage with a space heater on it, and i went over it with my heat gun and its drying mint. here is are pics of the primer!

Wow those look stunning! They're going to match your SL-i & Pig stickers perfectly.

No, no center cap. it looks more like a after market rim without them. I decided against the pink lugs because it wasn't matching the decals i had unfort. so here are some finished pics. also one of my stock grill shaved, bonded and drying..

Looking good.

You should of used sticky weights on the inside of the wheel, rather then the regular weights..it kills the paint once you take it off.

and lower that thing!! :grin:

Grill all done. 1 old grill. some bondo/paint and some screen for my screen doors.
now i need pink hella horns!

See, this is why I love this forum. I actually considered painting my own stock GT rims but decided against it because I wasn't sure how that was going to turn out.

I wanted to re-work my grill but wasn't sure how that was going to turn out.

About 99% of all things I wanted to do has been done here and now I have proof in concept.

Nice work on those wheels. Now I have something to think about as I work on my other issues.

OR i can spend like 4$ on paint and get them powder coated in my stove. any color i want...
