yeah i have KYB GR2's on my car with H&R lowering springs. I would highly recommend this set up to anyone who wants their car to handle better and is on a budget.

If you want to splurge a little go for the Group N front strut mounts and your car will be stiffer up front, helping your car keep on a line in tight turns.

I've heard gr2's are better than Monroes but not as good as bilsteins. I had some with eibachs in a previous ride and I liked them alot. They're cheaper than Monroes most of the time too. I think they have a lifetime warranty too.

So. . . Group N is Subaru parts, right? I trying to get an opinion on what's the best perches and boots and stuff to compliment a set of Control springs and GR2s. In the aforementioned vehicle the best I could put in was a set of stock perches and a KYB boot that had five inches of solid rubber at the top (I still managed to mushroom the top of the struts).

1. Whiteline control springs are shorter in vertical height than stock springs. Makes assembling them onto struts easier.
2. Eibach don't make shocks for many vehicles
3. GR2s are better than Monroe's, but are not better than Bilsteins. Bilsteins are hard to find in the USA for the BD/BK/BG. If you can get a JDM set, you can have them rebuilt in the USA.
4. Group N parts is essentially STi-level parts.
5. Best perches to use are your stock spring perches, stock boots and either STi top-hats or new OEM ones.

I have a BD GT and I was wondering how would KYB GR2's with H&R springs compare to oem sti springs and shocks?
