View Full Version : snout kit on BE ?

So I think it may be time for a new clutch. Just spent the last hour and 1/2 reading up on here about clutches, flywheels, and to bearings. One question though. the snout kit seems to be highly recommended , but I couldn't find any BE owners who have done it. Do BE's not have this problem? Also, Reason- expect a PM.

I have it, it reduced the clutch chatter considerably.

its time for me to replace my clutch on my BE too, but I have never heard of a snout kit, the website I found had some info. on it. and they make 1 just for subaru! An what clutch are you going with, after market or OEM, and flywheel?

i bought this for mine, cant really give any indept reviews because i am still in the breaking in period.
So far so good, it feels really nice compared to the one i had previously.

I'm using an ACT street clutch with the 14lb ACT flywheel. It was great when I was still on the stock motor.
