Anyone played this? I borrowed it from a friend and am having a blast with it.

I know it's a bit "play on the side of the cops-GTA" but the graphics are great, very smooth and it's got some great open-ended play.

If anyone else has it, I'm keen for some co-op action!

I've got it, but haven't picked it up in some time. Basically it was a fun free game that came with the keys for the Halo3 multiplayer BETA

I discovered that it's basically a precursor to the game that is supposed to beat GTA... "APB"

They are pushing their release date of "2008" right to the end it appears...

Fable II was delayed by about 2 years... but the APB stuff that's out there (even though it's being developed for the PC first) is solid. The draw distances are amazing and the customizations are insane.

People will end up selling "skins" of player characters...just like Forza 2 has car skins.

I am still loving Crackdown. My favorite assault tactic is jumping from a highrise into a gang compound after throwing grenades... my 2nd fav. is a rooftop battle where I sidekick gang member off the roof. :smt027

I played it, seemed kind of repetitive. Though the physics was kind of fun.

It's definitely not story-driven. It's almost as if they designed the game to be a technological showcase - however all the parts fit together really nicely and there is tonnes of DLC available too.

Crackdown is definitely good times, spent some good hours solo and co-op, played with Matt a bit a while back, it's one of my favorite games available for the 360, and now can be had fairly cheap. The expansion pack is fun, and piling up dumpsters and assorted nonsense at the exit of the first tunnel in while your opposing player tries to leave the headquarters in very funny

i hate to nay-say but the apb, from the concepts ive seen looks like the dumbest game ever to be made... it looks like its a "25 to life 2"

25 to life sucked monkey balls, and if this ends up being like that, massive flop.

i hope its not tho, we need a game to keeps us occupied til gta5

Just a bump, I've dusted this game off and been playing it a bit, going through the story again, I'd like to run through it co-op with someone, just hit me up anytime.

i bought the game for the halo 3 beta and ended up not really liking halo.
really enjoyed the game for the first couple playthroughs but after that it was kinda boring and repetitive. Fun game if you can find it for cheap. the DLC didnt add much to the game IMO.
hope the sequel will be better than the original (more weapons/cars/actual storyline)

I may be playing co-op locally tonight with a buddy... you can get this game now for $10-15 used.

The DLCs are pretty nice though, if you're creative about how you go around getting achievements it's pretty fun.
