Muffler Identification

Wondering if you guys can tell me what car(s) this axleback came off of...

on the bottom it says:

SUBARU
MMFF2
Sakamoto

It looks similar to a WRX axleback. I am going by the muffler for sale in the general classifieds. I can't tell if it is the same part number on yours because the picture is pretty small for me.

It doesn't say the same thing on the bottom as that one in the classifieds, however it does have the same hangers and bends.

Thanks for the answer huffer, is this the same as the STi one, with a different tip, or is it a whole different muffler.

Visually the same as the STi one. Just doesn't have the STi logo on the tip. Internally it has more baffling which isn't a huge deal but it adds some weight. 95% of people won't be able to tell the difference in the sound/performance when idling.

So to make this fit a BD i need to get the hangers reoriented, and lengthen the pipe? what if i made a custom 2.25" midpipe that accounted for that extra distance (including the flange to mate with the muffler), would that work just as well?
