so I need to change the plugs and wires on my BD and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for good all around products. let me tell you what it is im looking for before you start throwing me names of platinum this and titanium that.....all i want is something that will perform well and give me optimum efficiency/mpg from the motor. i run e3 plugs on my ls6 because i know for a fact that the power/efficiency is great for that motor, but i have heard that certain high end plugs actually hurt the performance of the ej series motors.

just wondering if anyone out there can point me in the right direction based on first hand knowledge and/or experience. all i want is better gas mileage!!! haha thanks in advance!!

I buy my spark plugs and wires from the dealer. Sometimes an online dealer, but I like knowing that I'm using the same parts as the other subbies in the area.

+1 on dealer for sparks and plugs - I used the NGKs specified in the owner's manual.

The only two I trust are: Stock wires or Magnacore, NGK plugs or Denso

Another suggestion for OEM (dealer) wires, and NGK brand plugs.
