...double posting this from the electrical forum to see if anyone bites...

so I need to change the plugs and wires on my BD and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for good all around products. let me tell you what it is im looking for before you start throwing me names of platinum this and titanium that.....all i want is something that will perform well and give me optimum efficiency/mpg from the motor. i run e3 plugs on my ls6 because i know for a fact that the power/efficiency is great for that motor, but i have heard that certain high end plugs actually hurt the performance of the ej series motors.

just wondering if anyone out there can point me in the right direction based on first hand knowledge and/or experience. all i want is better gas mileage!!! haha thanks in advance!!

Hi there, for what it's worth I'm using NGK-V plugs because I knew from reading around that NGK's work well with Subarus so I just asked for a set of 4 from Autozone. As for wires, I'm using Beck Arnely Blue Thunder wires.. which oddly aren't blue.
Regardless, the claim is that they're better than OEM and they classify as performance wires. They aren't generic wires, these are made specifically for the car.

So far, so good I imagine. I guess it's worth mentioning I use NGK's in all my foreign cars I've owned.

Yeah, you can't do this.
Consider it locked.
