can i take that old stock airfilter and put on am a&m aim filter system and drill a hole in the body for cold air intake?

can u tell me how to do it cause the carburator intake system has all those damn sesors and electronic wires on it

You can remove anything in front of the MAF sensor - there shouldn't be any sensors there.
