Hello,

I drive a 1991 Subaru Legacy Turbo
and i would like to drive 7x17 wheels with an offset of 40 with 215/40 ZR17 tires.

Does that, or do I have something in the body rebuild?

Tough one. I know the older Legacies had less clearance...I would check the Legacy Central BBS, since the older Legacies are their specialty:

Tentatively, I'm going to say you're going have to roll/pull to get those to fit, but I'm by no means sure of that.

Guten Tag. I'm going to say that you can use them as long as you roll your fenders. 40mm is a pretty aggressive offset for a 7" wide wheel on the older subarus.

Hi,

Thanks for your Help!

I must roll my tenders a little bit, but i think it´s easy to roll the tenders 0,5mm.

i just had a 05 legacy wagon come in with 215 50 17 and they were rubbing really bad on the front strut not the back though for my 17s im going with the same 205 50 17 to keep it in the safe side

That's the wrong tire size for an 05 Legacy, they should be running 215/45/17.
