Impreza RS bumper on BD GT?

ok...just to let yous know...i know its not made for my car

since i destroyed my gt bumper ive been looking for a new bumper...i was walking through a local town and telling my friends about this one ls that put an outback bumper on and i see an rs...is there any possible way i could get the rs front bumper on my gt? bend mounts or anything????

the rs bumper has the same mounts but a different curve, i know i have put my stock leggy bumper on a 95 impreza, the curve was WAY off looked goofy

If you could find one for cheap, I would say go for it and experiment. You could even do a DIY on it if you feel like it so the rest of us on here know how much work is involved.

It'll fit.

It just won't line up with where your fender arch ends and the bumper begins, there is no dip for your grill so your grill will push up or your bumper will sag (most likely the bumper will sag and you'll have gaps under your headlights) not to mention the bumper is more square where as the front of the legacy is rounded so that will look out of place.

It's been done. In fact, it was done by a guy who joined this board. He was from scotland or ireland. It took him quite a bit of work to make it look halfway decent and upclose it still didn't look good. More of a "oh that looks good from far away in a photograph" kind of good.

what about a smaller grille my friend put an outback bumper on his car and the grille is a litlle bit too small..his is smaller than mine...just swap the two and it shouldnt push the bumper down should it?

im definitely going to try it and i will type a DIY...i just need to find the bumper so if anybody comes across one for cheap let me know im also going to try junkyards around here

it does come together nicely...wonder how he got the gt lips on it

it must be stretched in the middle. the gt lip must of just got cut of a donor and resined/screw/riveted in
