Last week I bought this 2000 Legacy GT wagon from a guy near Madison WI.

The car is from the original owner and has had much of it's service done at the dealer.

220,000 Miles
Sony head unit stock six speakers.

Only thing I have done since was clean the headlights and install a different radio.

the car for the most part is running really good...I changed the plugs and wires...but have the code P0420 I did some looking around and found the fix to be for most with the O2 spacer...I just worry about with so many miles if the O2 sensor should be changed or cat''s or combo of both?

A light wet sand with 1500 - 2000 grit sandpaper and buff it out with a buffer using a good compound. At the end, I wax 'em for good measure. It retards the water also.

SpeedmanRC- Change the O2 sensor. You can't go wrong.

yep that's what I did to clean the head lights.

well today had the car in and looked at.

I smelled fuel no drips, the fuel pressure regulator diafram is broke and fuel is being sucked in to the intake. ordered and be replacing my self.

Sill have the one code on computer for knock sensor...might order that this week.

replaced rear O2 sensor, and wheel aliment is fine.

but I have a leak in the head gaskets...that's why I was low on coolant the one day my temp gauge was having fun jumping.
