For any of you guys that have an extra $2000 to spend

Not too sure if they would look gaudy (sp) or not painted, or left black depending on car color.

Masube doesn't have HIDs, though does he?

I like the projector headlights better, anyways. Too bad they're not HID :?

Subarus really need better headlights. It's appaling how bad mine are...

Really... Was/am thinking the same thing.

Its expensive because BE's/B4's in themselves aren't that popular in japan and HID headlights in the US for them are extremely rare. I've seen 3 sets in total (none of the set above). Andivic had 2(one sold to a guy on rs25) and I have 1.

your insaine if you think that BE/BH arent popular in japan. spent 5 yrs in japan, and you see one about every 5-10min.

Hmmm, not really a big fan of that, or morettes to begin with. Id rather have a dual circular housed headlight like on BMW's TBH...though Cibie makes excellent headlights.

At least it can't be uglier than my retrofit

Subaru needed something to hold them over for 5 years of the development of the turbo BL/BPs. We're pretty much the red-headed step children of the Legacy...well legacy, haha

Well, it's been my experience that us redheads get all the ladies!

So I think we're good. ;)

That seems like a rational explanation. Every time I go to look for parts I get the distinct impression that for a short period there were some options when it came to aftermarket parts, then as soon as the new generation car came out, wham, everything was disco'd.

Plus, the fact that the North American cars never got the facelifts or other upgrades of cars outside of this market means we have a lot less to choose from. What I'd give just to stand next to a Blitzen, let alone buy one.
