I feel like such a noob but I need some installation help for my JDM BG rear tailights... (THE MIDDLE SECTION)

I am currently at the stage where I've taken every possible nut off and the thing won't come off, It has a lot of play but I'm not sure if I should wrench on the thing to try and get it off or if I'm missing some kind of clip on the inside...

Please can someone tell me whether there is probably something I am not seeing or that I should just continue on yanking until it's free..

Thanks,
- Duncan

-- as well, I did get the two nuts under the windshield wiper motor, kind of tricky to get --

Yeah, its a 1997 Legacy Wagon, and my concern is not with the wiper or taking it off, because I already took off the bolts behind the wiper motor...

I've removed every bolt but the whole stock middle section of the light still won't come off...I'm wondering if there are any clips that I can't see that are holding it, or should I just yank the damn thing off...

You shouldn't have to force it. I'm assuming you're replacing an existing set of lights with a JDM set?
If so, look at the replacement set. Make sure you have every bolt and clip accounted for on the part that is still on the car.

There may also be a weather sealant on the backside of the light, so make sure you're doing this in 55F+ heat or have a hairdryer/heat gun (low setting) handy.

So what was the issue? Hidden clip, or sticky adhesive?
