Thank you guys, the project is definitly keeping me more than busy and actually a little
too stessed out. None the less I am so happy to finally be able to swap this car after
owning it for a year and a half allready and just drooling of the idea of having an STi
powerplant for a heart in this grocery getter. Anyways as requested, some more pics.
starting off with a nice one cleaned up and looking good before the tear down. and ending with a pic showing off my retrofited projector fogs and JDM grill i painted.
Enjoy and expect more pics after the weekend of the motor and wiring being installed.

I sent it to zephyr to do for me, though at the start of the project I had planned to merge it myself but it would have taken too long and it is getting cold!
He finished it in just little over a week after being sick too. I just got back from picking the fininshed harness a couple of min ago.

No 6spd, im using the stock transmission for now with a ACT streetlight clutch and flywheel kit.
If and when it pops i will build a 5sp.

i just did the exact same thing, but to a 98 gt sedan.
drove for the first time yesterday no issues.
keep up the work, it takes a while but worth it in the end.

I like it. I almost pulled the trigger on the BD, until I had a chat with some friends.
Have you done bushings yet? If you have not, I suggest going with Group N bushings all around, as opposed to poly. The poly bushing require maintenance if you do not want them to tear themselves apart. I would have done it that way if I would have known better several years ago. Plus, poly all around was only about $100 cheaper, and all the same hassle.
