12-04-2008, 09:43 PM
the other day i took out my headlights to clean the outsides of them, i put them back in and they turned on and everything was normal thaqt night, that was 2 days ago, now tonight, i try to drive around and my lights wont come on at all... the orange side/ running lights/ parking lights whatever you call them turn on and all the interior lights work fine... i popped the bulbs out and everything is connected.. so... idk

whats wrong?

loose/bad connections, maybe poped the fused for both lights

i thot maybe a wire shorted out for one...idk... but the chances of it happening to both lights are low i'd think..

idk, its ice cold and pitch black so i'll check it out tomorrow.. it'll prolly rain now tho..

any other ideas?

today i went outside and turned the lights on an off from the steering wheel and i heard a click from the fuse box as they were set to 'on'

but if that's the fuse, they aren't labeled so idk whats what?

click you hear is the relay activating

hmm... so whats the problem here.... does that mean the relay works and its just a fuse?

Check all the wires for the headlights, left one specifically. Sounds kind of like there is a short to ground somewhere to me.
