haha i just dropped the engine in last night/ this morning in the 15 degree weather. And the harness is installed but the dash is not back together.

So not till next weekend will it be done.

I had to vote for Okin, although I really love all the cars this month.

His wagon is a combination between both my sedan and my wagon. If I fused them together it'd turn out something similar to his ride.

white hatch and quarter panel with red driver's door FTW!
foglights wired to stay on with high beams

Suspension:
KYB GR2 shocks w/ factory Outback springs

Impreza GC8 got my vote! I love to see a subie getting used for what its good for. I love the shot of the 4 fog lights, that's an awesome look to it. Kawikid's would have taken mine had Impreza GC8 not been in the running.

I believe that gauge cluster is the stock WRX gauge cluster so he didn't have to merge the harness from the WRX motor to factory legacy gauge cluster. I think it ways how he did it in his member's ride thread.

i would like to put a sti gauge cluster in my BD but i would F up the wire splicing and crap i have no clue what to do there

The steering wheel is USDM 04 WRX, the cluster is USDM 05 WRX.

I did the swap "backwards" by using the complete WRX harness and only changing what was needed to interface with the Legacy doors, sunroof, radiator, lights, HVAC, etc. Everything else is 05 WRX spec but customized to fit the BD5 chassis and/or upgraded.

As far as I am aware Dip is the only other person to tackle the swap this way without also swapping the dash, though I don't know if he retained some systems like the ABS (my car is using the complete 05 WRX ABS system).
