ok so im driving down the road i hear i clunk and alot of metel scrapping and im assuming that i spun a bearing. now i wanted to eventually attempt a EJ20tt swap later down the road but if there is damage to the block im thinking a 3k bill will come about so i had mind as well get a new motor. so i need to know (only cus if heard it wont ) is if to Ej20tt will fit a left side driver. if not ill be looking into a Ej25t. Also if the Auto tranny from a 2.5 is universal to the other motors EJ20,EJ22,bc25z and so on. Any info would be appreciated

Look at the Ej25T

EJ20TT Wont work in a LHD car unless you do a Single turbo conversion. (its OBD1 btw)

All the transmission will bolt up with no issues.

When doing a N/a to turbo motor swap, you will need the crossmember from a turbo car, i learned this firsthand, the hood will not close lol and you wont be able to splice ECu's you will need the whole harness also.

Learned from experience, the TT swap is USELESS without a donor car or Front clip with Rear Diff.
On top of that, the EJ20TT's are notorious for spinning bearings.
