Anyone know how much a stock battery weighs?
30lbs?
When winter comes to an end I'm thinking about upgrading to this battery and shaving nearly half the weight:

17lbs. Woo!

Not suitable for daily driving.
I have a 6mile round trip at under 50mph as my commute.

I have a 10min drive. Barely any load on the engine.
It'd just be stupid to end up stuck at work, 4miles from home because my super-lightweight battery couldn't charge up on my morning commute.
Although a 7lb battery would be easier to push start the car. ;)

Just an fyi, the braille batteries are just rebadged deka power sports batteries, marked up by ~90%. You do get the SAE post terminals included, but they're ~$16.
I have a Deka ETX30L I got through bigcrank (http://www.bigcrank.com/bigcrank_batteries.php) in the legacy.

no you dont want a ~295 amp battery because it couldnt handle up the load all the accesorys a cars comes with. there for stripped bare race cars that only need them to start the car, power the ecu, and turn on the fuel pump
