reverse light help!!!!!

they don't work the fuse is good . they work sometimes like the other day when my trunk was open i had my friend sit and put it in reverse they worked then i went to close my trunk and they went off .

Ever had a bad light switch, or bad light bulb that just sits there, flickering?

You said it stopped working when you went to close the trunk. That means a wire is pinched or frayed somewhere around the harness.
